Wîhkwêntôwin is a central Edmonton neighbourhood immediately west of downtown and north of the North Saskatchewan River valley. In February 2024, City Council approved the name Wîhkwêntôwin—pronounced We-Kwen-To-Win—a nêhiyawêwin (Cree) word meaning 'Circle of Friends.' Many buyers still know and search for the area by its former name, Oliver.

The neighbourhood is one of Edmonton's most established condominium markets, with high-rise and low-rise apartments ranging from older, value-oriented units to renovated and newer luxury residences.
